Just putting the finishing touches on my first gentoo linux installation. Took between 15 and 20 hours on a Dual PPro, it might have gone quicker, but the boot-cd's kernel doesn't support SMP. It's a pretty neat distro. James (Thanks to John)
I've been using gentoo since the earliest beta versions. Its an amazing distro and i have been very happy with it. I have actually done a few ebuilds myself. Its a very powerful distro with a lot of configuration options that can allow you to really customize your distro.
