I have & like Charter... I had the same MAC problem 0->O when they typed it in. I've had less than 6 outages at an average of about day each time over the past 3 years. Tech support can take forever to get to since you call into level 1 and they ask the "is your PC plugged into the modem?" questions, but the second-level support is pretty good. Speed is good. 768K base service, but some people are getting 1.5-2 in areas that aren't limited.
