Works great from our Solaris boxes to HP printers on the network. And I know Patrick supports Linux with LPRng as well, so the user should be all set and on the way. Ditto. HP has two good documents on configuring JetDirect cards to do LPD and to configure UNIX machines to print to them. Linux specific: http://www.hp.com/cposupport/networking/support_doc/bpj06515.html LPD/UNIX in general: http://www.hp.com/cposupport/networking/support_doc/bpj02836.html I was able to set this up on a test RH7.1 machine at work and print a few test pages. -- Randomly Generated Tagline: "Remember: while root can do most everything, there are certain privileges that only a partner can grant." - Telsa Gwynne
