looking for a PCI graphics card
The graphics (motherboard) on my linux box have stoped... I still have an ascii screen, but no graphics. (No errors in any logs, so I suspect a hardware failure.) I'm looking for a cheap PCI graphics card to see if that fixes the problem. Even a loaner would help. Thanks, Bill

If you can't find a card, how about booting from a Gentoo or Fedora CD with a GUI install interface to see what that returns? -- Gary

Gary, Great idea. BTW, I don't get the graphics screen during the boot, either. I _did_ get it once or twice, then intermittently, then not at all, so I really suspect the video driver hardware. Bill
