Are you all aware of any robot clubs in eastern Massachusetts. I am interested in robots in general, but even more interested in Linux robotics. Are there any break through products you know about? I have not searched the web. This email is a spur of the moment action. Ken
Nope, but if you do find such a group, please share. The only real interesting projects I'm aware of, are mostly the ones I've read about in Linux Journal. But anyway, here's a list of URLs that you may or may not have already scoped out.: http://opencv.willowgarage.com/wiki/ (Open Source Computer Vision) http://playerstage.sourceforge.net/ (Linux Based robotics API / server) and of course wikipedia has a decent list of open source robotics related projects to start with: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open-source_robotics <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open-source_robotics>also, Linux Jounral had an articel recently about using player on the coroware corobot (not a cheap platform).
