I'm glad they've got a spreadsheet. Now...does anyone have a serial cable I can borror until I convince my wife that spending $30.00 so I can hack my iPAQ is a good idea? OR...has anyone installed familiar/qte through an usb cable, and the handhelds.org site is just wrong when it says it can't be done? No, it's right. You really need the serial. The reason is that you have to download the kernel and the root filesystem image to the bootloader which sticks them in flash. The bootloader doesn't know how to speak USB. Scott
