How do I create a block device? Specifically, how do I re-create /dev/fd0 after I accidentally obliterated it? (hint: don't use the -u option with shred when the target is a device.) Thanks, Greg Avedissian

Try using MAKEDEV: /dev/MAKEDEV fd0
