Before my plea could be published on the WLUG list Jared Greenwald suggested that I look harder for a RPM version of gDesklets. I found one in http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/packages.php It worked! Thanks everyone just for being there. Ken Jones
Have you configured yum at all? I think the http://fedorafaq.org wesite has a good yum.conf file that you can just apply to your system. I was able to find many packages through yum with this config. There is also a way to install apt on redhat/fedora, which adds the deps checking automatically. Go to the DAG repository and you can pull it down via yum or apt depending on how you configure yourself. Jared Greenwald wrote:
