Automatically deleting old email
Is it possible in Evolution (or another email client) to configure messages to be deleted after a specified period without manual intervention? I have a few folders set for mailing lists and shopping offers, but the contents are irrelevant after a few days. I'd like to be able to set up each folder to delete messages older than seven days, for example. Thanks.
It looks like you can do it in Icedove (Thunderbird). i've never tried it. Edit --> Folder Properties --> Retention Policy And then you can set it by number of messages or days or for messages that have been read. Greg Clint Moyer wrote:
