I've got Fedora Core 6 Evolution working so I can cut and paste. I tried to use the "retrieve update information" tool. I think everything is WAY out of date. The update tool said. "Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: extras" I can't find one either. I checked the fedora-core.repo file: $ more fedora-core.repo [core] name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch #baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/$ba search/os/ I went there and got. The requested URL no longer exists.... URL /pub/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/$bahttp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/$basearc... was not found on this server. All I want is SAMBA to work so I can interact with the my WINDOWS machines - particularly the one with the BROTHER printer attached. Ken
