Check for the no long distance, local metered plans. I had this (before I canceled my phone line) and it cost $10 from verizon. After the excessive taxes and fees, it came out to around $16, if I recall. We use Vonage at home. It works well for us. We have two lines, one for FAX and one for voice (the single Cisco box can support two lines). Our connectivity is through Charter Communications; we're in Boylston; the service we have is 768 down, 256 up. Keller, Tim wrote:
