Re: [Wlug] tutor / newbie
Yes, am looking for a tutor to teach in my home. I'm in Holden -- going north on 31 towards Wachusett. My son is 13 ... and his friends don't talk much about PCs ... except that they seem to be active IM-ers. Doug
Hi Doug,
The way I read your email, I think you're looking for a human being to tutor a teenage Linux newbie. True? Would this be relatively close to Worcester? Does this teenage Linux newbie have teenage friends who also share an interest in Linux?
Thanks,
Andy

OK, WLUGers, is there anybody that is able to help here? Unfortunately, I live too far away to be of direct assistance. I am currently looking to purchase a mobile phone where I can edit open office documents, sync with my linux desktop, connect to the internet, create an access point and of course make phone calls. Has anyone had any experience with the linux based devices that are currently available or am I better off looking at some of the other os's. Thanks, Mike
I'm just down the street from you. Perhaps I can help. -Chuck d.maly@ieee.org wrote:

I live in Leominster right off of Rt 2. I guess the next question is, what kind of tutoring would it be? On 6/21/06, Chuck Noyes <vze284qe@verizon.net> wrote:
