Re: [Wlug] Wlug Digest, Vol 62, Issue 5
Hi I haven't used GnuCash but I hear its a great program. Has anyone used Openbravo. I just installed it on a local Ubuntu server. I would like to move the instance to an EC2 machine. Does anyone have experience with Amazon EC2 installations? I have an Ubuntu EC2 machine running but need further assistance. I Would love to hear about your experiences. --- On Sat, 12/13/08, wlug-request@mail.wlug.org <wlug-request@mail.wlug.org> wrote: From: wlug-request@mail.wlug.org <wlug-request@mail.wlug.org> Subject: Wlug Digest, Vol 62, Issue 5 To: wlug@mail.wlug.org Date: Saturday, December 13, 2008, 12:00 PM Send Wlug mailing list submissions to wlug@mail.wlug.org To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://mail.wlug.org/mailman/listinfo/wlug or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to wlug-request@mail.wlug.org You can reach the person managing the list at wlug-owner@mail.wlug.org When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Wlug digest..." Has anyone had success in having Gnucash talk directly to the Bank and/or Credit Card company to pull down information, and (ideally) push transactions to the bank?
I'm getting sick in tired of my banks web interface, mostly because it's such a damn manual process to actually pull down the transactions in QIF format.
I'm thinking of moving from BoA to DCU completely, if I can make it work. Or to another bank (within reason) to make my life simpler. Another goal is to be able to download my Credit Card statements automatically each time I fire up GnuCash so I can track those
I have successfully configured GNUCash to pull down my data from discover card. Additionally, I download my data from my bank in M$ format (OFX) and it imports perfectly. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
