Jit.si just requires a modern web browser to participate in a conference. My 5 year old laptop with Fedora 32 and Firefox 80 works fine. The browser itself will request permissions to use your microphone and camera if you have them. You could also just listen and view the video and chat in the chat box if you don't have a mic or camera.
