Ubuntu switch user & screen lock

I'm running Ubuntu Feisty Fawn. I've recently used the "switch user" option to log in without logging my son out. However, after logging out of my account, the screen is locked for my son, and his login password will not unlock the screen. Anyone else seen this? TiA, Bill

I think I have seen this, but only if you are utilizing "Desktop Effects" and a closed-source binary driver. Is this the case? -- Kristian Hermansen
