Reiserfsck has been run successfully and the system is still mounting / as readonly. I have found that the /boot directory is empty and it was empty before running reiserfsck. Where do I go from here? Any guidence will be greatly appreciated, Mike
man mount have you tried remounting it as rw. specify when you call mount to remount it as rw. otherwise explore the riserfsck more. Something to try.. If nothing else, backup the data and reformat the partition. On Sun, 22 Jun 2003, Michael Long wrote:
