Hey Everybody! We've got a meeting this Thursday! Time: 7PM Date: 2/13/2025 Location: Technocopia, 44 Portland St. Worcester MA. Virtual Location: https://meet.jit.si/WlugMA Topic: JetKVM Long time WLUG Member John Stoffel is going to be demoing his JetKVM ( https://jetkvm.com/) It's a next generation KVM over IP that started as a kickstarter and is now a "real product". Fully hackable, this FOSS KVM has a bunch of neat features. As usual expect a lively conversation, a cool demo and our usual shenanigans. Afterwards we'll likely head off for dinner and keep the conversation going! I hope to see you all there! Later, Tim. P.S. It looks as though there is some snow predicted for earlier in the day. If the weather prediction changes and it looks like things are going to be dangerous, I'll let everybody know as soon as possible. -- I am leery of the allegiances of any politician who refers to their constituents as "consumers".
I've got an OrangePi3 LTS SBC to demo the JetKVM on at the meeting. Hopefully we can share the screen and you can read it. JetKVM really is fun and useful. John

Is it possible to open the jit.si "meeting room" before you get to Technocopia? Sometimes when I log on at 7pm, there is a meeting in progress, but sometimes the Technocopia gang is not set up yet or is having technical problems. In the later case sometimes there is someone else in the jit.si room, but sometimes it just says "wait for moderator". I don't know what makes the difference. I have had some good conversations with Jstone and Brandom while waiting for the meeting to start. That's better than sitting here for half the day, clicking "join meeting" and reading "wait".
