Hey, A buddy of mine just dropped me a mail asking me if he knew of anybody looking for linux sysadmin job... Drop me a line and I'll send you in the right direction. Tim.
Friends, Can you help me that where or how can I create a bootable disk for Linux Remote Installation ? So, I can do Linux Installation using ftp, nis, or http under tcp/ip. Thanks. Aramico
under the redhat linux distro images/ directory write the bootdisk.img and drvnet.img to a disk. dd if=bootdisk.img of=/dev/fd0 dd if=drvnet.img of=/dev/fd0 boot the computer with the bootdisk, and insert the network driver disk when prompted. I would suggest installing redhat 9.0 versus 7.3 On Tue, 22 Jul 2003, Aramico wrote:
