(got this off the boston linux users group mail) type =GAME("StarWars") into a cell in StarOffice calc and see what happens Note: I don't have staroffice 5.2 so I can't confirm it... Tim.
Tim, I can confirm the StarWars in the StarOffice 5.2. It is truly there (in the Windows version too). when you type: "=GAME("StarWars")" then hit enter. Colin Novick

Tim et. al., One last note on the Easter Egg: It is not a fixed thing that works all the time. If you close the "Star Wars" window and try typing the command into the sheet to restart it you will immediately get the text "oh, no, not again" Colin Novick
Yep...it's really there...in German. -Chuck "Keller, Tim" wrote:

It's in StarOffice 5.1 too. -- end Adam S. Keck | | askec@conncoll.edu Millbury, Ma 01527 | "Got Linux?"
On some FTP sites, I've come across directory names that contain foreign characters. I am using the standard *nix commandline FTP client, and was wondering how one goes about typing characters. I can use Mozilla to traverse the directory structure, and although it displays properly, if I click the direcotry name, It brings me to a page labeled: Index of /%E9%E9%E4%20%E7%E3%E4 the %20 is a space, the rest of the characters are foreign vowels. And I can continue traversing the tree from there. Internet explorer works the same way on my windows machine. But in order to use the command line FTP program, I'd have to actually type it in (cut 'n paste doesn't work). Even outside of FTP, I have had files with foreign characters, and they're a pain to manipulate without a GUI.
