Groupware; Citadel
I'm looking at a few groupware packages for a non-profit I help out... At this time, I'm leaning toward Citadel; http://www.citadel.org/doku.php
*Citadel* is a turnkey open-source solution for email and collaboration. One simple installation delivers a multitude of powerful features, including:
* email * calendaring/scheduling * address books * bulletin boards * mailing list server * instant messaging * wiki * multiple domain support * a powerful web interface
Basically, I need to set them up with something that does e-mail and calendaring and when changes are needed or new accounts are needed I don't have to do a site visit and touch each computer - or manage several types of e-mail clients. Anyone using this package, or know of it? Any feedback, or alternate recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Have you looked at Google Apps? It's free for non-profits under 3000 users, and should provide most of what you were looking for. http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/nonprofit/index.html Disclaimer: I am both an employee and satisfied Google Apps customer. :) On Thu, Sep 2, 2010 at 4:49 PM, Maurice <mauricep@cds-cumberland.org> wrote:
