What's a Pegasos? Looks like we have a volunteer to present at the next meeting :)
A Pegasos is a PPC based system. MorphOS is somewhat of an Amiga OS clone. The Pegasos has had Linux ported to it. But my question for Pete is.. think Genesi (Pegasos company) will be around a year from now? check out http://www.pegasosppc.com fro info on the board. Rob Mahlert Charles R. Anderson wrote:

I think I remember seeing something about Gentoo supporting the Genesi hardware platform... There is some connection between the two - I think Genesi is a supporter or Gentoo and that they also will be selling PPC boxes with Gentoo pre-installed. All in the name of Open Desktop. -Jared On Tue, 01 Feb 2005 23:04:08 -0500, Webmaster <webmaster@atari-users.net> wrote:

A bit OT. But I have boards based on the same chipsets as the Peg and I know it is currently being tested with 2.6.11... I have been helping out with the chipset dev under 2.4 and 2.6. Are you just curious about who is doing what or do you need some help. I would be more than happy to help you bring it up under 2.6 becuse it would give another test point. Thanks Brian
