To everybody who attended last night, thanks! Maddog educated and entertained us with the Linaro and Cacu projects and regaled us with lots of humorous computer history. Jon, thanks for being a great presenter! You're welcome back to speak anytime! Next up Andy will be giving a talk in January about Mesh networking. If anybody has a topic they'd like to speak about or something they're interested in learning about, let me know! Thanks, Tim. -- I am leery of the allegiances of any politician who refers to their constituents as "consumers".
Yes – very cool stuff. I hope Project Cauã really takes off. Not sure if this has been don already, but Maddog’s anecdotes on computer history inspired me to think a neat topic for a future meeting could be a ‘show and tell’ of computerania. I’ve got some neat stuff from the past, and I’d bet others do too. Some of my stuff is directly related to *nix, but mostly it’s hardware. I could talk about my curios for at least 15 minutes. Maybe interested in some trading, too.
