Just realized that I didn't make it clear that I'm not giving this away for free. I was planning on putting it up on eBay, not just "getting rid of it". Sorry for any confusion. On Wed, Oct 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM, Jared Greenwald <greenwaldjared@gmail.com> wrote:
Not to treat the list as a place to hock my junk, but I've been contemplating getting rid of my unused CoolerMaster ATC-620BX case. I bought it back in 2005 for a planned HTPC box running mythtv, but I never got around to getting the rest of the components. (Plus I have a Series I Tivo with lifetime subscription, so it wasn't terribly urgent.) You can see a pic of it here (http://www.directron.com/howtoicsatc620.html).
Let me know if you're interested.

Hello all,
I'd like to know what Wlug'ers are recommending for mythtv hardware these days. I already have a Hauppauge PVR-350 TV capture card. I'd like to build a low-profile quiet mythtv box that I can put next to a standard TV (not hi-def). What do people recommend? What about disk space? Ideally, I'd like something about the size of the mac-mini, but I don't think I can use a mac-mini as a mythtv backend.
I already have a mythbuntu box, but it's big, noisy, and not suitable for what I'm looking for.
Any ideas??
