Have you configured yum at all? I think the http://fedorafaq.org wesite has a good yum.conf file that you can just apply to your system. I was able to find many packages through yum with this config. There is also a way to install apt on redhat/fedora, which adds the deps checking automatically. We use this setup on our redhat el as 3 desktops at work for those that don't really want to track down all of those deps. -Jared On Thu, 17 Mar 2005 17:43:53 -0500, Ken Jones <kjones@ziplink.net> wrote:
Before my plea could be published on the WLUG list Jared Greenwald suggested that I look harder for a RPM version of gDesklets. I found one in http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/packages.php
It worked!
Thanks everyone just for being there.
