You might try looking around on my website here.

I purchased my last desktop locally from Thinkmate (formerly PCs For Everyone) out of Norwood, now located in Waltham and Cambridge. If things are the same, you can design your own desktop - something you might be able to do with some of the other companies also.

While you're at it you can search here for open source alternative software.
