I would like to also suggest Technocopia! http://technocopia.org/ We would love to have the WLUG, and the only reason i haven't attended in a while is because Thursday at 7 is our open house night. I would take responsibility for "booking" the space, as a member I am allowed to host club event's in the space with non-menbers so long as I am there to let everyone in and close up on the way out. I still may not be able to attend every meeting, as I give tours of Technocopia, I do look forward to finally being able to at least pop in and out between tours! Cara,
That would be awesome. It seems that WPI is the most central for everybody. Could we get something booked for Tomorrow or are we cutting it too close?
Thanks, Tim.

Hi Tim,
I think the issue with WPI has been inconsistent room bookings, especially in May due to the number of large events taking place. Now that those are over it should be relatively* easy to get a recurring reservation in for one of the campus center meeting rooms on a monthly basis. Happy to work with the events office and see what'll work.
Thanks, Cara

Hey Gang,
It appears that WPI isn't going to work out for us as a stable place to hold meetings.
I have two questions to ask the group.
1. Does the second Thursday still work for people or would a Wed/Fri work better? 2. How far would people be willing to drive?
As for the second question, doing some research, Leominster public library has meeting rooms (I'm also a LPL member) and they're open till 9pm. Moreover, Leominster has great afforable places to eat.
I believe it's likely too late for me to schedule a meeting at LPL, but I can always call and ask. So I suspect this months meeting (which is going to be this Thursday) will be virtual. Though I'll let people know asap.
Let me know what you think, I'd really like some input.
