The "GENERIC" manufacturer scares me a bit... Though on the same vein, I saw that Short-circuit city is selling "Centon" 256MB PC100 ram for 44.99 after rebate. Once again, I'm not sure if Centon is any better than GENERIC. Though for 120 bucks I could have 2gig of ram in my machine (provided my motherboard would support more than 128mb per slot)! Hmmm... now I just need a server motherboard that has like 12 memory slots!!! (kneeds hands together thinking about having to turn on BIGMEM stuff in kernel :-P) I went looking on http://www.thechipmerchant.com/19633-0.html (which I've had great luck with buying stuff) and it looks like there selling something comparable for 50.00 bucks... however they gave specific chipsets it would work with.
