Can you try just installing it with the PPD file:

When you select the printer, instead of looking for the printer in the list, select that you have a ppd and select the ppd that you can download from the above site for your printer.  I think you have a VERY Linux compatible printer.  There are also some command line instructions that would make the printer show up in the list of available printers if you click on installation instructions for ppd.
