Somebody just sent a 2 Megabyte message to this mailing list, I think. I don't even know who sent it, because I got tired of watching it download and telnet'ed into my pop server to delete it totally unread. Since I don't know who you are you are safe (from me at least) if you never do anything like that again.
I did it. Got a problem? Take it up with me and not the list, and please keep your profanity to yourself.
Can the mailing list software be configured to throw any message more than, say, a generous 200K, into /dev/null and reply to the sender with a polite message about his mother and a baboon?
Let's leave my mother out of this, shall we? The mailing list software sent my e-mail to the WLUG mailing list admin due to its size. I believe the limit is set to 20 Kbytes. The WLUG mailing list admin obviously approved it for posting and sent it on its way. I am not the WLUG mailing list admin (I suspect it is either Chuck or Frank).
Thank you very much.

You're quite welcome! I'm happy to keep people informed about important events in the Linux world, such as the Enterprise Linux Forum being held in Boston. Ah, but you'd have known that if you hadn't deleted a partially downloaded e-mail message. Now, to the more polite members of WLUG, my apologies if the aforementioned e-mail has caused you some grief. I'll endeavor to use more care in the future.
