Well, I didn't get any replies, but I went and looked around a bit and found a "Speed Metal Box" at a local store, but which I didn't like because it required a wall wart to use. Plus, it didn' have a builtin fan, it relied entirely on convection only. So I ended up ordering (for a cheaper price!) an ME-320 5.25" enclosure with builtin power supply and USB 2.0 and firewire interfaces. I'll let people know how it works once it comes in. It will be holding a 120gb disk for backups and data transfer uses. I'll let people know how it works out. John
