2.6.28 is not a great release. Fedora skipped over it and went right to 2.6.29.1 which is the latest stable kernel.
Odd. 2.6.28 was unproblematic from the traffic on LKML. I see many more complaints about 29. Maybe Greg ported good patches into stable. What was Fedora's beef?
