What is the output of "dmesg" It probally created a serial device in /dev/tts/USB0 or something like that.. The prolific USB-Serial adapter just acts like a plain old rs-232 serial port. Then you need application software to sync. Walt Sawyer wrote:
Hi all, I need some help! I bought a USB to Serial/parrallel adaptor (IBM 22P5298). Fedora 4 seems to see it in /proc/bus/usb/devices but when I try to hotsync my palm, no connection results. Anyone have an idea as to how to proceed? Thanks in advance! Walt
