CodeLight is no longer seems to lock up and a Steam/wine game I play seems to start without errors. I have not spent much time testing this.
I ran into this just in the past few weeks. I got a new desktop system for home and installed Ubuntu 24.10 (?) as a test, usualy I use linux Mint for my desktop. Anyway... x2go wouldn't work when connecting to another system, so I googled a bit and figured out I needed to change my desktop to use X11 instead of Wayland. Once I did that, it was ok. I can dig up details if people need them. John
