You can add sound apps... ALSA O.S.S. The Alsa and OSS plugins for XMMS..
Not to be discouraging, but don't most distros include most of the stuff that's been mentioned? I know Mandrake includes Mozilla (probably out of date by now), XMMS, ogg-vorbis tools, VNC, Lame, Gaim, Jabber, Licq, and Alsa and OSS plugins, and I'm sure SuSE does with its monstrous CD collection or DVD. I think the latest kernel source, Mozilla milestone, and the free-to-download commercial programs mentioned are definitely a good idea for the CD. Brian J.
