I second Squeezebox, I have two of them (3rd gen & a Duet). BTW, if you have (or would buy) an iPhone or iTouch, the iPeng app that runs on that platform beats the Duet RF controller (aka "SBC") for usability, so you could save yourself the cost of the SBC and just get the player box. I haven't looked into the Squeezebox Touch product they have now...
If there are other wireless PC-to-home-stereo solutions I'd love to know about them.
Sonos and Roku are a couple others. -BR
