Hi All:
Recently, I installed Suse Linux Pro
9.2 on an HP laptop. The box the software came in prominently lists,
as an included program, Inkscape, the open-source vector graphics editor.
The mystery is that I can find no reference to Inkscape anywhere
in the system, not even in Yast when searching in the "Install and
Remove Software" dialog. Now perhaps I messed up and didn't
choose Inkscape during the initial install, but shouldn't Yast still list
Inkscape as a "Not Installed" package?
My other thought is that perhaps Inkscape
is included when you install from the 2 DVD's, but somehow Novell messed
up and didn't include it on the 5 CD's.
Thanks,
Doug
