HI guys,<br>

I know a small businessman who is interested in potentially hiring<br>
somebody to write a piece of custom software.  He is wondering where he<br>
would look to seek out contractors with the right credentials for this<br>
small project.<br>
<br>
He didn&#39;t mention too many details, but it sounds like the project will<br>
have something to do with bar code scanning, optical character<br>
recognition, and some type of graphical interface, most probably in a<br>
Windows environment.<br>
<br>
Where would you look if you were seeking a software professional on a<br>
short term contract basis?<br>
