Topic: FOSS for desktop manufacturing.

For my birthday last year I bought myself a cheap desktop CNC machine so I could learn about subtractive manufacturing.

The goals were to use as much FOSS software as possible to run the machine.

This talk will be a high level presentation about additive vs subtractive manufacturing, and from there we'll get into the nitty gritty. If things going well, it'll finish with the machine doing some milling.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided and we'll head off for dinner afterwards.
