That direct drive mod looks like something I might invest in... We shall see how it performs with the Bowden first :)

There's a company out there that makes a linear rail upgrade kit for the ender 3 and ender 5. The website is printermods.com

The only thing they bring to the table is they've just assembled the parts, but still cool nome the less.
