Sorry I left the meeting so abruptly.
I am not sure if I pushed the wrong button,
or if one of the ten-thousand loose connections
that we call internet service, jiggled.

Suddenly I was not connected.

At that point reality shook me and said:
That's enough anyway!

It did not seem worth the time to log back on
just to make a tearfull goodbye.
