We've got a meeting on Thursday March 10th!Date & Time: March 10th, 2022 @ 7pm
Topic: KiCAD EDA software
Speaker(s): John Stoffel and Tim Keller
This is going to be an in person and virtual meeting at the Hudson Public Library!
The topic is KiCAD, a FOSS EDA (Electronic Design Automation) CAD tool.
KiCAD is a computer aided design software package that enables you to create logical circuit diagrams and convert them into a PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards). This software is being used in the industry and has a vibrant community around it.
The speaker for this talk is our own esteemed member John Stoffel with myself lending a hand. John and I will show up some of the features of the software, talk about how he's used it to create his own PCB's and give a quick demo. As always these days the entire meeting will be uploaded to our youtube channel.
Snacks and Refreshments will be provided and afterwards we'll head out for dinner.
I hope to see you there (even if only virtually!)
Later,
Tim.
