I use either Fiji ImageJ (http://fiji.sc/) or 3D Slicer (https://www.slicer.org/) to work with DICOM data. I have never encountered an encrypted DICOM image, so I have no idea if they support that. I'm not sure if either is packaged by any distros; I use binaries downloaded from those sites.
I picked up a copy of some x-rays and MRIs. They're on a CD, encrypted, with Windows viewer software. Has anyone figured out how to view these in Linux? I have the password to decrypt, I just don't know what software to use (without resorting to Windows).
I think it may actually be a DICOM file format.
