[Wlug] Salvage flashdisk

I've got a 32mb flash disk that's gone bad. Ironically it went bad before I had a chance to pull the pictures off of it. I can't open it with fdisk nor will doing a dd if=/dev/sda of=image_of_flash_disk will work. Anybody got any good ideas or know of utilities that might be capable of salvaging the data? Thanks, Tim.
