I've been encoding some dvds for a while. I purchased The Incredible Hulk: The Complete Animated Collection some time ago. It is PAL encoded but the only way to legally purchase the 1982 series. Encoding those worked fine but when I tried encoding the 1966 series I encountered problems with three episodes. Episodes 4, 8, and 13 produced the error: Too many audio packets in the buffer: (4096 in 8257533 bytes). Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed? For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option. I've found various suggestions on fixing it (ac3_fixed instead of ac3, various combinations of -mc and -ofs). None of the fixes worked. Dennis Payne dulsi@identicalsoftware.com
