Hello, does anyone know of companies in the Worcester area looking for people with programming/web/*NIX skills, or of a good place to find consulting type jobs? As in making a webpage, seting up servers, etc for somebody. I'm looking for something to put my knowledge to.
Thanks, Orbitz
Similarly, does anyone know of a suitable type of job for a person that loves making Debian packages and generally tweaking things, but not actually writing code? Someone described me the other day as an "ad-hoc specialist," in that I don't specialise in anything, but I tend to learn what I need to do the job I need (or want) to do. How would I put that on a resume? I'm not looking for something to put my knowledge to. I'm looking to gain more self-taught knowledge. Something I've failed to learn is how to find a good job. -- Aaron Haviland orion [at] tribble [dot] dyndns [dot] org orion [at] parsed [dot] net I previously had a sig here, but it went through the dishwasher.
