I was at linux world and got to play with a zarus...  One word: wow. 
 
Hardware wise, it's essentially an iPaq.  But it adds an integrated keyboard and a SD slot.  And even better, it runs linux out of the box.

You can get an Agenda VR3 on ebay for reasonably cheap.  But I'd wait
for the zarus, it looks sweet!
