This just means the card is set to detect if termination is in place. You can turn it off you have terminators on all the appropriate ends, but it doesn't really matter.

Apparently, you can only use 2 of the 3 connectors on the card (external 68-pin, internal 50-pin, and and internal 68-pin). I've never run into that one before, myself. You must choose, but choose... wisely.

Note: You can attach a narrow drive to a wide cable with a 68 --> 50 pin adapter. I have a wide drive and a narrow tape device and they are both connected to my wide cable...
