I am not sure what you mean by "process monitor". If you have some cute GUI thing installed, that might be part of the problem. If you mean you can not pull up a shell; ps ax; and kill it, then either you have bad hardware, or an OS bug, or you should learn to do that. -- Keith PS: I told you what I do, but I did not recommend it.
