Another newbie request. Tomorrow night can you spend a few minutes talking about running Windows apps on Linux, i.e., Wine and virtual machines (my impression is VirtualBox seem to be the most popular).

Last month the issue of ransomware came up and the consensus was there is none on Linux. In my wanderings around the web I came across Linux.Encoder as Linux ransomware:
