Hi Mike, I don't personally have RedHat 7.1 in my possession (I'm a SuSE kinda guy) but I'm sure there are folks in the group who have copies. I suspect that people will bring these to the next meeting, so if you make it, you could probably grab a copy that way. Andy On Tuesday 09 October 2001 10:12 pm, you wrote:
Hey Andy,
I read with interest about your installfest on the listserve (I pile up emails and pour through infrequently) and I'm sorry I missed it - I find myself in need of an upgrade on one of my boxes.
I saw you have many copies of several recent distributions - I am looking to get a copy of redhat 7.1 - got any left over from last week? I'd love get a set...
TIA, and one of these days I'd love to actually catch a meeting..

HI Tim,
This sounds really great - thanks! If you can get the KDE 2.2.1 rpms, that might be something to put onthe "others" CD.

What you might want todo is just grab everything; debs, rpms and tarballs.
That way, not matter what distribution we load, we'd be able to install.
I was planning on grabbing as much as I can, however each version of each distribution has a different set of Ximian Gnome packages that run around 225MB a piece.
What CDs do people plan on bringing?
